I think that the writers have the right to go on strike. I do support them. If it was not for them writing the materials there still would not be our favorite TV shows. People need to understand that we only like the characters because of their brilliant scripts. The writers are definitely responsible for the success of the TV shows we watch. They deserve to get paid a lot more than they do. What i want to know is how much does the network profit and also the actors and actresses. I can guarantee that it is triple of what the writers make. We as hard working Americans that make business and in this case Networks wealthy should and deserve a bigger piece of the Pie. So to you on the picket line i would like to say united we stand and united we fall. There are many of us who believe what you are doing takes courage and strength. i am a fellow union member in NY @ 1199 SEIU (Health care)

All I want to know is what the heck Jesse Jackson was doing there. He will do anything and show up anywhere that will give him media coverage, and apparently he’s now moving beyond “race cases.” WGA, you don’t need his voice!
