ELLEN WAS AND IS A STAND-UP COMEDIAN. SHE HAD TO WRITE HER OWN ROUTINES AND KNOWS HOW TO AD-LIB. LETTERMAN,LENO,AND THE REST OF THE NIGHTTIME LINE-UP HAVE TO READ EVERYTHING THAT THE WRITERS WROTE FOR THEM.

Steve and Krista…Ellen has a talk show, just like Oprah, Rachel Ray, Dr. Phil, Martha, Tyra, Regis and Kelly, Maury, etc… It’s not the same as a Late Night show, I don’t get why everyone is picking on her about it.

I just watched Ellen’s first show without her writers. Guess what – the show is still the funniest, breeziest and most enjoyable on daytime TV without the writing staff. Thanks to Ellen.

Ellen is wearing me out lately! This endless tearful drama about the dog. The break-up rumors. And now poor Ellen is lost without her writers. Did she decide to take over the title of “Daytime’s Most Melodramatic Lesbian” now that Rosie’s gone? I used to enjoy her but I think I need a Degeneres detox!

I can’t believe Ellen is working since she works under an AFTRA contract and that contract states that all AFTRA shows must stop working if there is a strike. Shame on you Ellen!!!
