Marie is totally honest and awesome. I know personally because I was a hairdresser for the Donny and Marie Show.She had fatigue problems back in the late 70's and always tried to "not say anything" because of "making the show go on." She is a beautiful woman inside and out. She is very sensitive to what people say about her, and continues to remain strong and positive. When I worked with her, she always had a smile and when we entered our daughter in a Marie look alike contest.. Our daughter Mindi won the contest and Marie supported her after reading in a magazine USA today, that Mindi said I can't sing like Marie, but I do look like her. Marie responded by autographing the magazine article.."Congratulations"..and I'll bet you can sing". She and our daughter have had similar situations in their lives, as far as marriages and divorces, owning businesses Mindi still looks more like Marie than Marie looks like Marie.They both live in Ut & I am very partial to Marie.You keep it up sweetie

I like Marie now but I haven't always liked her. I actually looked like her when I was younger and people thought I was her at the Osmond Concerts. I met the Osmonds and got their autographs but Marie was the only one who snubbed me and walked away. I think she really is a genuine person and cares about people. I am sad to see she is getting divorced. I'm sad about her losing her father.

The average size of real women in the US is a 14. Marie Osmond has quite noticeably toned up during the run of this show - and I think she has nice legs. Not everyone is built like teeny tiny Jane Seymour, aged 56 - who also has nice, but teeny tiny legs. Mel B. is also not a skinny mini - and has performed consistently well. Sabrina Cheetah was probably the most talented dancer and I would kindly suggest she still had "baby fat". Vive la difference. Go ladies - of all ages and sizes!

I live in southern california and had trouble breathing/allergies because of all the smoke and ash in the air. I had to sit and rest a few times when running my errands so I completely understand how Marie could have fainted after that dance routine. She wasn't getting enough oxygen because her air pathways were congested.

Excuses, excuses. It's terrible that Marie Osmond would use the tragedy of the Southern California fires as an excuse for her fainting spell on "Dancing With the Stars." Such an excuse diminishes her character.

As for her performance... it was absolute crap. If you watch her routine again, it actually looks like she's high on something. She jumps around the dance floor with this pot induced grin, and is rarely in sync with her partner.

Doubtful that we'll ever hear the real excuse.

Marie has done a wonderful job and she has lost some weight and has firmed up during this contest. She is 48, a mother of 8, owns at least two businesses and has been performing with her brothers on a 50th anniversary tour. She was just across the country last Friday performing, and her dancing partner went with her. She fainted and leave it at that. She has more guts and grit and personality than most people older or younger than she is. I hope she wins the whole thing.
