'CSI' Spoiler Alert! What's next for Gil and Sara?

Oct 11, 2007, 03:27 PM | by Lynette Rice

Categories: TV Biz

Csi_l As fans continue to fret about whether Jorja Fox will walk away from her six-figure gig on CSI, an insider tells EW.com that the Oct. 18 episode will feature a very unorthodox marriage proposal by Gil to Fox's character, Sara. So far, very little has been revealed about the duo's clandestine relationship, though fans first got an idea that something was up in the season finale two years ago, and over last season, when Sara was seen sitting up in bed with Gil (William Petersen) in one episode. Next week's proposal will surely spawn speculation that Fox may stay on the show despite published reports stating otherwise. Fox, along with CBS, have yet to officially confirm or deny her departure. Meanwhile, fans have launched a Save Jorja campaign by sending cash, balloon, and Life Savers candy to CSI's production offices. A show spokeswoman declined comment.

I can't believe Sara is leaving. I will still watch CSI, b/c its awesome, but I think her and Gil are great together. They have so much in commmon on the show. They are the strantgest couple on TV yet, but by far the most interesting. I would like to to see a little more cases and less soap drama though!

Prime Time Television: Bringing the Electra Complex to New Heights.

fred Thu, Oct 25, 2007 at 09:26 AM EST

I think they should get rid of Eckly before sara!!

kaitlyn Tue, Oct 23, 2007 at 05:45 PM EST

sara is da'bomb. I love sara's determination and dedication her work. I wanted her to live in the opener, it was soosweet how she woke up when Grissom touched her hand. GSR ROCKS! Long Live the Grissom and Sara Romance!! I even had a dream that they would get married. Wouldn't it be so cute to have little geek-babies running around in the lab. It would be very cool to see softer side of Grissom (and how in love he is with sara!:)PLEASE DON'T LET SARA GO.

Sandy Sat, Oct 20, 2007 at 10:02 PM EST

I LOVE THE PAIRING OF GRISSOM AND SARA!
I HOPE GRISSOM AND SARA DO GET MARRIED!
AND SARA DOES NOT LEAVE THE SHOW!

Ivory Thu, Oct 18, 2007 at 10:21 PM EST

Yeah People.. It happens!!! He proposes and it was awesome! Heavens thanks TPTB!

jenny Thu, Oct 18, 2007 at 04:43 AM EST

This is great, I've been waiting for something to happen. Going to miss Sara like hell in the newer episodes, CSI will never be the same!

Suisan Wed, Oct 17, 2007 at 03:41 AM EST

I've enjoyed watching Grissom, I have - at times - enjoyed watching Sidle. I don't find their romance "creepy" as others have - mostly because I'm part of a May/December marriage of 15 years. However ... Having said that, the GSR thing has got to go. There is no real spark between the two characters, not even the least little bit of UST. Nada. If this marriage happens - and I doubt that it will - it'll be a marriage of opportunity. Not love.

Okay, that's my thoughts ... Warrick's marriage is on the skids, Greggo is too immature (though that is changing), Catherine's relationships die horrible deaths. If everyone due to have horrid relations? I wonder when Nicky might find someone and what her profession might be. Somehow I can so see him getting with a cop ... or will he be Single Guy for the rest of his life? (And how sad that would be...)

patti Tue, Oct 16, 2007 at 06:21 PM EST

I never did see any "chemistry" in the GSR...It always seemed "forced". Now in the episode, "Lady Heather's Box", there was smoldering passion between the 2 of them! They spent the night together (he's wearing the same shirt over tea at breakfast!), so I'm hoping that they can ressurect that passion instead of sticking him with another cold, unfeeling love interest. I always thought the character of Sara was cold, cardboard, whiney, anorexic and narcissistic. JMHO

wendy lee Mon, Oct 15, 2007 at 03:08 PM EST

The only thing that could be better than this would be if Catherine left. I just don't like the actress, haven't liked her since she was in Ryans Hope. She is so "I'm better than you"

Mon, Oct 15, 2007 at 12:02 PM EST

Two words re: Grissom and chemistry: Lady Heather

hawks Mon, Oct 15, 2007 at 08:56 AM EST

It's nice to see the "softer" side of Grissom. It always irked me when his team members would always accuse him of having no feelings. Maybe now they will see him in a different light.
Although it has been implied the attraction of Grissom and Sarah, I do believe that Lady Heather had better chemistry with Grissom and more a stimulating effect with Grissom.

logo87 Sun, Oct 14, 2007 at 03:16 PM EST

Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle are so so perfect for eachother....age doesn't matter in true love.....so beautiful....let her say yes....let them have their happy ending.
best couple on television=Sara and Grissom

chippy Sun, Oct 14, 2007 at 02:13 PM EST

I love watching CSI and enjoy all the interesting characters on the show, but, with all due respect to Gil Grissom and the very talented William Peterson who plays him...Sara is way too young for him,so the idea of a romance between them does not seem plausible to me.

Marion Sun, Oct 14, 2007 at 07:01 AM EST

Well, surprisingly, I don't mind this pair. Love the science of the show, but Grissom and Sara's character has been very interesting to me, together and individually. I sure hope that they don't turn it into opera though, and watching the show for the last seven years, I can trust the writers to not do so. So, far they have handled everything perfectly. Thus, here I am commenting. People have different likes and dislikes. As the majority of the comments here agree, i find Sara Sidle to be very unique character and pretty real life kind for television shows. That was a big score. Love Brass, Grissom, Warrick, Sofia and rest of them as well. If Ms. Fox does decide to leave, which I hope she doesn't, I will watch any show she goes to.

CSI Fanatic Sun, Oct 14, 2007 at 02:52 AM EST

I have been watching this show since day one. Since the second episode when the Sidle character appeared I have been waiting for her exit. When she was fired a couple of seasons ago I was ecstatic. How unfortunate that they hired her worthless @ss back. That warm fuzzy feeling came back when I read she would only be appearing half way through the season. I'm so hoping it's true and she will be gone for good. And CBS, while you're at it, put Gregg back in the lab, he's not worthy of field work.

To heck with Grey's - The Office Sun, Oct 14, 2007 at 12:24 AM EST

is a great show and the show I'll be watching when Jorja (hopefully married) leaves

Sheldon Sun, Oct 14, 2007 at 12:07 AM EST

GSR IS CANON! The kiss, we want the kiss!

JUICY Sun, Oct 14, 2007 at 12:05 AM EST

Make it happen CBS! Give the fans what they want, otherwise the day that Jorja Fox does not appear in opening credits will be the day that someone says "It's Thursday night CSI, do you know where your fans are?"
---------------> watching Greys.

Hey Kat Sat, Oct 13, 2007 at 11:54 PM EST

Comely is a compliment. Try using a dictionary before you insult someone as beautiful and sweet as Jorja Fox. And Linda - your perception of the character of Sara baffles me. Rude? Spoiled? (she had no parents and fended for herself). And unlikeable? then how come Greg likes her, and Grissom loves her, etc? Come on people. Give it up. He's proposing, it's fact.

jeneal Sat, Oct 13, 2007 at 11:30 PM EST

LOVE IT! I can't wait, they are so meant together. This is the best. Sara Sidle character is amazing, honest, straight forward and smart, like so many of Jorja Fox Fans. Thats why we love GSR

Paige Sat, Oct 13, 2007 at 11:29 PM EST

If this doesn't happen like the VAST MAJORITY want it to...then I wouldn't want to be CBS. We made you rich, we can make you broke.

Linda Morris Sat, Oct 13, 2007 at 07:43 PM EST

I think CSI will be better off without Sara. I think Gil can find a more suitable mate. Jorga Fox is not a very good actress when it comes to Sara's Character. I have never liked her in this role and was disappointed when she was rescued on the season premiere. The character is spoiled, rude, and just plain unlikeable. I will be disappointed if Gil proposes to Sara

Mo Sat, Oct 13, 2007 at 06:46 PM EST

I'm totally stoked for this. I've been a fan of their relationship since the beginning of the show. I just hope she doesn't say no and then run away from Vegas because the two can't stand to look at one another anymore.

Demelza Sat, Oct 13, 2007 at 04:16 PM EST

Squee!!

I know I'm not the only one heaps excited about this. I just hope TPTB do the right thing and let her say YES!! Thank you CBS, this IS the moment we GSR shippers have been waiting for....but only if you do it right ;)

KaT Sat, Oct 13, 2007 at 10:39 AM EST

Grissom can do a lot better than her. She is comely and stilted. Besides the obvious...can't see what he see's in her.

Erin Sat, Oct 13, 2007 at 10:29 AM EST

I most certainly hope she says yes. I won't be lulled into a sense of false belief that Jorja is going to stay, but if she's going to go - at least let her go happy. I love this relationship and every single moment that has made it so. GSR, FTW.

Jessica Sat, Oct 13, 2007 at 08:54 AM EST

You don't know the truth. I saw some celebrities' blogs on searchingmillionaire.com. What they talked was more reasonable. It's a dating site for celebrities and wealthy people.

keane2 Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 11:44 PM EST

I have watched CSI for 7 years, and have been waiting for Sara and Grissom to get together the whole time. This is one of the most intelligently written romances on TV. They have just dished it out slowly keeping me hooked. They are both, smart, awkward and totally suited for eachother. Honestly I look forward to the moments with Peterson and Fox more than any other part of the show. Even if Fox leaves, which will create a black hole in the show I hope the writers will give both characters a happy ending....

Taryn Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 10:24 PM EST

I hope this is true. It would be the best thing to happen to CSI! Then maybe CBS may be able to get back some of us viewers who are ready to jump "ship" with Jorja Fox leaves....KEEP JORJA FOX ON CSI!

EKL Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 09:59 PM EST

I've already lost interest in the show and this storyline. I'll admit at the beginning I was for it but 7 years and some character development later and I just don't see it, am tired of it, and just done. Sara and Gris are too much alike and in TV land that equates to boring. And if I wanted romantic melodrama, I'd tune in to Grey's. I think they should keep this storyline to a minimum and go back to the basics of what made this a good show. Interesting crime stories and quirky investigators who are more about the victims than themselves. I fail to see how someone like Sara is the best role model on the show. Frankly, I'm not sure any of the characters could be at this point. And if I see one more season finale where a major character gets shot/stabbed/buried/kidnapped/tortured whatever . . . I'm gone. When did this turn into CSI Miami?

Lisa Cook Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 07:12 PM EST

I just happened to fall across the new CBS promo on youtube for this episode. And how nice are they that they mention GSR fans? Well its about time you stood up and noticed us CBS! Thanks to the CSI writers who have made us all so happy. Let them get married. It would be a perfect, absolutely perfect way to "conclude" this storyline!

KC Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 07:07 PM EST

It's about time a relationship was done right on television. After years of flirtatous remarks and two years of doe eyed looks, we are finally getting the big payoff and it's being portrayed perfectly! I never would have imaged a cop show could do relationships this well. Kudos CSI!

Shaki89 Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 06:25 PM EST

You'll be my idol forever David Rambo if this happens! Make it happen! GSR is canon, and to all the fellow fans who supported the campaign for Jorja Fox pat yourselves on your back!

PAM Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 06:00 PM EST

Those two deserve to be happy! Way to Go ! Make it happen! They need eachother, let them be happy. They have the best chemistry of a couple i've ever seen on television.

Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 05:45 PM EST

Seriously, all of you guys that say that sara and Grissom dont have chemistry? Are you SERIOUS? GSR fan or not anyone can see that they have the most chemistry between any of the characters on the show, personally, intimacy, or anything else as a matter of fact. Grissom and Sara complete each other, and you guys think that the show is turning soapy because one person who has devoted his life to the Forensics, and has always been socially awkward, finally found someone who understands him? You want soapy! WATCH GREYS! Grissom and Lady Heather? No. Grissoma dn sophia...haha hardly. Im glad that they are doing this.

Angel Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 05:32 PM EST

I hope they let sara and grissom have their happy ending, however CBS has really not impressed me lately. They really should keep a valuable actor like Jorja Fox.

From New Zealand with Love Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 05:30 PM EST

We love Sara in NZ! Long live GSR! Say Yes Sara! Keep Jorja Fox on CSI.

aussieforgood Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 05:12 PM EST

Finally a proposal! I hope that Sara says yes & I hope that Jorja stays on the show, Sara is my favorite character after they bug man himself and I dont think I'd be able to watch without her. I totally disagree with anyone who says that the tiny amount of GSR we get every now and then is turning the show into a soap, all we get is a 30 second look into their relationship, the show is still about forensics, sometimes we need to see something personal regarding the characters , they are humans not robots and they do have personal lives outside the lab. And I agree with one of the comments here, if there was anyone that was turning this show into a soap its Cath and all her drama. I'm not bashing her, I like her alot but it is true, some of her personal stories are too soapy for CSI. Long live GSR and I really hope Sara says yes. Save Sara!

Rachael P Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 05:07 PM EST

Well from what I have heard all over the internet lately this will make me among thousands of others extremely happy. It is time that CBS listens to their viewers, from what I have read on other sites, it appears CBS even turns away gifts in support of their actors. Wake up and smell the coffee CBS, it is the viewers who are loyal and the actors who portray the characters that we fall in love with, that in turn pay your salaries. You are rich because of US! Hope this storyline is true, but i'd be suprised if CBS does something right. I am very disappointed in how they act towards fans of their shows.

Catherine is the SOAP part of CSI Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 04:36 PM EST

I love Catherine and all the characters but come one, to say Gil and Sara are soapy after everything we've gone through with Catherine? Please. If you get jealous that Grissom loves Sara and his heart is now taken, just say it, don't pretend THEY are the only soapy part of the show because they are totally understated whereas Catherine's stories are always mad hysterics with her ex husband, her daughter (brat) her Father (gangster). Again, this is not a bash on Catherine - I liked all her storylines, just saying. There's more soap on a rope around her neck then GSR by FAR. Be fair Please

Sara is the BEST CHARACTER Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 04:30 PM EST

She's the most multi-dimensional, real and interesting character. Grissom (not for nothing) is the big grouch! But she loves him and I love them and I won't be watching when she leaves so there... to me GSR is something destined to be. I hope they do get married and to the poster who said who cares, it's a forensics show, we had to go through Catherine's family issues with her daughter and her father, and Grissom's potential hearing loss and Catherine dating various men and Grissom dating Terri and almost kissing Lady Heather so save it. Your argument falls flat. If you tuned in for all that you can tune in for the BEST ROMANCE ever. The sweetes, most real one

In Need of a Barf Bucket Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 03:50 PM EST

Who gives a crap what is next for Gil and Sara? This is supposed to be a forensics show, not a soap opera.

Mandy Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 03:41 PM EST

I can't wait to see CSI next week! As a huge Grissom/Sara fan, this is a great storyline development. And they should most definitely keep Jorja on the show.

Christine Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 02:18 PM EST

This is a dream come true, they are so meant to be together. Plse do it! Let Grissom and Sara be happy. Jorja Fox is the best!

rob mathews Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 12:47 PM EST

she's the weak link and least interesting character in the group. let her go.

Stef Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 12:39 PM EST

I watched one full episode of CSI. I won't tune in again until Sara is off. I could't stand her.

Ann Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 11:57 AM EST

Having Grissom and Sara get married would be a fan wish come true. Wow, a show that actually listens to the fans? Now that would be impressive. KEEP JORJA ON CSI AND LONG LIVE GSR!!

katya Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 10:59 AM EST

This is the best thing that the network could have done for CSI. This couple is intriguing, keeps the viewers watching when the crime storylines don't. Great job! Hope it happens!

GRISSOM Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 10:58 AM EST

I NEED HER! The lab needs her! CBS NEEDS HER! Marry me!

mg Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 10:56 AM EST

i agree with ms daisy, and also sara
s****, jorge does seem greedy, and i
don't see any chemistry between gil &
sara. the show is about solving a crime, at least that is why i watch it, not for romance.

GSRCANON Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 10:52 AM EST

The only way to go for CSi is to have Grissom and Sara together...get over it pple Jorja fox is here to stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KD Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 10:44 AM EST

YUCK! I stopped watching the show because of this ridiculous storyline. I've always disliked the Sarah character and felt it was crap to put her together with Gil. Get rid of her and get this show back to it's previous interest level and quality!

Geoff Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 10:37 AM EST

Get rid of her. She is decidely the weak link in the CSI chain and could be replaced very easily.

just me Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 10:10 AM EST

I believe that she will propose, he will say no and she will leave ... thus leaving the show without being killed, etc. That way she can always come back

Dana Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 09:46 AM EST

I love Jorja Fox and William Petterson. I don't care if they get engaged just that both of these characters remain on the show. Jorja Fox portrays Sara so well and CSI would not be the same without her

M.A. Epstein Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 09:44 AM EST

And now CBS is harassing the companies delivering and sending the items for the fans. They want to know who's involved and they confiscated IDs. Oh, yes, CBS, bring it.

Lauren Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 09:40 AM EST

Sofia? LOL
OK, who else has Grissom had more chemistry with? Ecklie? Warrick? Mandy? Nick? Natalie? Lindsey? Seriously. GSR is understated for a reason. Seems to me, if you hate the show so much stop watching. I intend to stop watching when Jorja leaves whether they marry or not but it sure would be nice to have them bonded forever - not that they aren't already. You don't write love letters with Shakespeare Sonnets in them to someone with whom you have no chemisty. They have trust and love AND chemistry.

Holly Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 09:35 AM EST

I just love the two characters together. THey have great Chemistry. It would be really nice to have a TV couple that don't cheat and lie to each other. Yah can't wait until next week

Lily Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 09:35 AM EST

I don't think I've ever seen in the history of TV shows, a group of people, who SO go against what the writers are trying to do. They give us this wonderful, quirky, loner of a man, Grissom, with whom we all fall in love and then they give us from Season 1, Episode 2 his love interest. They put it out for us, they make it grow, they put bumps in the road but the love is always there and here we are 8 years later still talking about a woman he spent one night talking with when he was losing his hearing and his life was falling apart. When will it end? Oh , maybe when Grissom and Sara wed. But no, there will still be people hoping LH can't hold her peace at the ceremony. Long Live GSR the best romance on TV ever.

Wayne Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 09:30 AM EST

Anyone wanna bet that the "unconventional marriage proposal" will have something to do with the cocoon that Gil sent to her during his sabbatical? That little plot point never amounted to anything - so far.

Lene Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 09:29 AM EST

Never really believed these two together. Now Grissom and Sofia was another story. They actually had chemistry.

Lily Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 09:29 AM EST

Lady Heather and Grissom have more chemistry than Sara and Grissom. In what universe? Surely not in the same one in which CSI has existed with episodes like Butterflied, No More Bets, Blood Lines, Scooba Duba Doobie, Committed, Snakes, and the list goes on. To each his own but Lady Heather and Grissom have what amounts to one drop in the bucket compared to GSR. GSR is the ship of the century jump on or sink. And the relationship of Sara/Grissom is so above the intellect of a 12 year old that it is constantly put down by people with only the intellect of 12 year olds. Please now. Let it go. Grissom loves Sara (as evidenced in every season for 8 years) can't you'll accept it? It seriously gets ridiculous after a while to keep hearing about LH. Grissom cares about LH but he doesn't love her or want to marry her... um that would be Sara

Eileen S. Ross Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 09:04 AM EST

Since when did 12-year-olds read EW and CNN online?

CSI used to be a smart TV show that caters to mature and intelligent individuals. I cannot believe it sacrificed the whole essence of the show to write for 12-year-olds who live their lives around a TV couple.

No way I'd tune in to a High School Musical copycat.

Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 08:59 AM EST

I love this show and will continue to watch it regardless (as I always have), even though I hate the Grissom/Sara relationship. Grissom and Lady Heather are a much better fit, chemistry-wise. If we'd seen the relationship develop through THAT lens (his having to choose between the match for his brain [Lady Heather] vs. the match for his passion for work [Sara]), it would be far easier to stomach. But the relationship coming about because Brass almost died is far too contrived and convenient, especially with Grissom's hypocrisy regarding letting personal life and feelings interfere with work.

If we MUST have a relationship between main characters, I'd much rather see Catherine and Warrick together than Grissom and Sara. THAT is chemistry that has been evident from the beginning, and it would be much more interesting to see the drama from their lives intersecting.

Shadow Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 08:58 AM EST

Hint to the writers of CSI... A 2 hour made-for-tv movie of Sara and Gil's wedding would be the topping on the cake!!

Nancy Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 08:57 AM EST

I am so happy to see that I am not the only one who cannot stand Jorga Fox. I cringe every time I have to listen to her whiny voice. It always seemed to me that every comment out of her mouth should have a question mark after it. Then I realized it's more like she's singing her words. Very annoying. Every since I heard that she might be leaving the show, I have been looking forward to not having to watch her or listen to her any more. I hope she goes and stays away.

Tracey Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 08:55 AM EST

I am thrilled that Grissom and Sara are together at last. They were always meant to be! I'd be shocked if Sara said no to Grissoms proposal. I can't get over the fact that Jorja's leaving CSI though. :(

Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 07:42 AM EST

Characters marrying = Jumping the shark!

Lauren Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 07:29 AM EST

The character of Sara is unsympathetic? Have we been watching the same show? Sara is totally sympathetic, empathetic, you name it. And please, no matter how upset you are that two people who are totally alike could fall in love, don't compare CSI to GA? That's just wrong on all kinds of levels. It doesn't even make sense and actually I shouldn't have even commented on it for that reason.

Jurgen Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 06:38 AM EST

Wow! This is amazing news! I hope Sara accepts his proposal and that Jorja Fox stays at CSI. Hats off to those Dollars for Sense guys for keeping on with this campaign - I hope they get the resolution they deserve. As for those people who hate Sara and Grissom as a couple, it really is only a tiny bit of the show and the few seconds (sometimes the odd minute or two) in which Grissom and Sara are interacting as a couple shouldn't affect your enjoyment of the show too much.

Dominique Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 06:10 AM EST

Hi,

In TvGuide, Jorja didn't deny or confirm her departure. So I'm really almost sure she stays in the show.
All these questions allow to maintain another suspense in CSI.
The season 7 was not yet aired in France and I'm looking forward to see it.
Next week, the integrale season 6 will released in my country. Yep!!!! It's great. I'm also looking forward to watching it in original version, so with the voices of our actors. It's better!

I sincerely hope Jorja will stay. I like Sara's character. From the season 1, it's sure she is attracted by Gil Grissom and not by another one man. Their relationships existed with some hits, and truth sometimes, but not official between both.
I'm happy it's official with the last episod of season 6... And now... with the rest of the team?!!!

Thank to all the actors of CSI! They are great, and nice through the interviews.

Sincerely,
Dominique from France

theringismine Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 06:08 AM EST

I love CSI, but Grissom and Sara are the most boring couple on TV! Sara is not "sensitive". She may do her job well, but she is cold and thoroughly unlikeable and unsympathetic. I didn't even feel sorry for her under that car! Millions of viewers did not tune because they care what would happen to Sara - They wanted to see the end of the miniature killer story. Grissom and Sara getting married would be such a mistake. You hear that splash? That's CSI jumping the shark!

David Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 04:26 AM EST

Grissom and Sara are different from the other TV couples? That's B.S!

Grissom proposing to Sara is too cliché and isn't different from the storylines in Grey's Anatomy, As the World Turns, etc.

I really hate the writers they're making the show sappier than Grey's Anatomy! Ugh!

At last, we are canon. WE are canon. Us, GSR. Canon. Thank you David Rambo. You are a wonderful man. Our campaign to save Sara will continue. Please join us (that's the canon us not the other sinking ships btw) www.dollarforsense.net.

To all the folks who still can't spell Sara 's name right, who think CSI turned into the Grissom and Sara show, to the people who found their romance unbelievable, to the ones who likes to insult the charachters/actors - writers - producers etc. of CSI.... I can only say : "suck it up, 'cause we are CANON baby :)

Béné Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 02:59 AM EST

OK guys, wedding, baby, that's all very exciting, but how about a KISS??
We've waited 7 years for that baby, so now come OOOOON, BRING-IT-ON! :D

I must say that Grissom and Sara's relationship have really given me a new found hope in television shows these days. The romance they share is so pure and believable. They have great chemistry without the sexual scenes and innuendos that most shows have. Though CSI is a forensics show, I loved how the writers have explored Grissom and Sara's relationship tastefully--without overpowering the concept of the show. It really shows that love has no boundaries despite uncontrollable factors such as age, employment, and common human insecurities. A marriage is usually the result of two people realizing and celebrating their love for one another. As long as CSI doesn't devote a whole episode to an hour long wedding, I think the idea of Grissom and Sara getting married is expected as well as deserved. Thank you for making me a believer of true love and happy endings.

carrie Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 01:12 AM EST

I just hope you make the fans finally happy CBS and make this come true. It would be the "perfect" way to conclude this storyline.

Hilary Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 12:50 AM EST

GSR?JF/WP fans will all be happy to hear this! And the great thing about it is that william petersen and jorja fox both support these character developments and storylines as well. They want this to happen as much as we do. They know they have chemistry. I can't wait until they get married.

Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 12:48 AM EST

Its about time you did something the fans want!

Luis Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 12:42 AM EST

I just laugh at CBS seem to be getting food for there shows...I ponder what type of food you get for certain shows.

Still I hope they stay together...can't see them without them but they need to go further like a kiss, but if you need that as proof then I feel bad for you

Lily Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 12:26 AM EST

LOL two lovely, lonely, hardworking people fall in love and it's vulgar. Heeee the world is full of crazies for sure and it isn't JF/GSR fans - it's the inexplicable hatred. I hope she says YES but I wouldn't put it past TPTB to make her put her answer off and then have her come back in the finale. And WP's wish to act on stage will come QUICKER if they kill the GSR (something he supports and has supported for years) GSR rocks.

Foxy Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 12:25 AM EST

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for doing this great storyline. Grissom needs Sara. The fans need her too.

InYourFace Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 12:24 AM EST

GSR CANON BABY!

Shawn Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 12:23 AM EST

I love it! Not only did Sara SURVIVE she's getting married. WE LOVE YOU WILLIAM PETERSEN AND JORJA FOX! No two pple are more meant to be together than these two.

Taylor Morgan Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 12:21 AM EST

Yeah! You just made me so happy! its about time we saw some real romance between these two.

Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 12:20 AM EST

Grissom and Sara r perfect for eachother. Good job writers!

GRETCHEN Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 12:18 AM EST

it's always good to have a crime show that shows the personal side to its' characters without over-doing it and making it into a soap drama like on daytime. The Sara/Grissom storyline has been so "tastfully" done and by showing us snippets of their romance without going overboard and making it too soapy shows that the writers for CSI know what they are doing. This is a great storyline, one in which I hope receives a happy ending by marriage.

Shayla Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 12:16 AM EST

That network could only get much better ratings by making these two characters marry. DO IT CBS...I dare you to make the fans happy

Linda Fri, Oct 12, 2007 at 12:06 AM EST

Oh, wonderful! First those of us who are disgusted by the Grissom/Sara pairing are subjected to "the obscene." Next we will be subjected to what I have deemed "the vulgar": Grissom's marriage proposal.

YUCK!!

Hey, writers! "CSI" is about crime scene investigation. It's not the "Grissom & Sara Show." Remember?

DS Thu, Oct 11, 2007 at 11:35 PM EST

I'm a big fan of CSI, but to be honest, I haven't bought into the relationship between Gil and Sarah... Like the forensics, not so wild about the romance. I will probably watch regardless of what happens, unless this "relationship" eclipses the other characters who I like better than Sarah. (Sarah is probably my least favorite character.)
