CBS/Paramount has quietly signed a new deal with Gary Sinise, who stars as Det. Mac Taylor on the CBS drama CSI: NY. Beyond extending his contract through the 2010-11 season, Sinise will now earn north of $200,000 per episode. The actor already has a producer’s credit on the show, which is now in its fourth year (it averaged 12.7 million in its premiere week). Co-star Melina Kanakaredes (Det. Stella Bonasera) is in the midst of negotiations as well, but no deal has been set.

    DEAR GARY

I CAN’T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY KILLED OFF ANGEL WHEN HER AND FLACK WERE A CUTE COUPLE. I ALSO CAN’T UNERSTAND WHY YOU NEED A PARTNER LIKE STELLA WHO DISOBEYS YOUR ORDERS AND DRESSES LIKE A VICE COP. SO I FEEL THAT MAC AND LINDSEY MAKE A GREAT TEAM AND I REALLY HOPE FLACK ADAM SID MAC AND LINDSEY AREN’T LEAVING THE SHOW. I FEEL ITS TIME STELLA LEAVES AND I HOPE SARAH WILL LEAVE THE SHOW. I JUST FEEL THAT GARY YOU ARE THE BEST PART OF CSINY AND AND ACCOMPLISHED ACTOR WHO DOSEN’T NEED STELLA AS YOUR PARTNER OR A MEMBER OF THE CSINY CAST. FINALLY I FEEL THAT STELLA CAN’T ACT LIKE A REAL COP AND HER SCRIPT WAS TERRIBLE. I ALSO HOP STELLA LEAVES AT THE END OF SEASON6 SO WE CAN SEE MORE OF LINDSEY THE BEST FEMALE CSI ON THE SHOW.
