Seems hard to believe that anything could go wrong for J.J. Abrams right now given the terrific week he’s had in TV — he sold a two-hour drama pilot to Fox about paranormal mysteries that will reportedly cost north of $10 million to produce, and ABC also picked up a drama pilot about a cable access psychologist called Boundaries that he’ll produce with Jill Soloway (Grey’s Anatomy) under his Bad Robot shingle. But it looks like his drama pilot about cancer doctors and patients that he set up at HBO may not see the light of day, a network source has confirmed. Abrams told EW, “We’re still waiting for HBO to make a final decision on the pilot, so I don’t really want to comment until then.”
