Scarlett Johansson???? Lol, acting wise but certainly not physically, some of you forget that WW is an Amazon. Now, for the slow folks Amazon isn't given to women for being wild it's because they ARE TALL!!!!!

now you all know i had to put my two sense in this. me being a die-heart dc fan, i must agree with danielle about this. Beyounce no, selma hayek no, megan fox oh god no. like she said fans don't want to see our favorite heros be ruined and altered by actors and actresses who they think fit the part. now does anyone agree with me when i say Scarlett Johansson or Charlize Theron would make a powerful wonder women. i think jessica Biel would fit the role of the amazon princess personality wise(she has a tough bad girl demenour but girly at the same time) but she does not favor her the least bit.

Danielle Sat, Nov 15, 2008 at 09:02 PM EST

You can't mess up th role of Wonder Woman. These women can't hold a candle to the great Linda Carter. The only known women right now who you can even consider would be Lucy Lawless. Remember, Wonder Women was amazon! People who grew up on comics and the 70's shows about them like me would not pay to see these images ruined by stars that are not up to par yet, like Beyonce. Please get this role right! Don't make the same mistake like the Hulk.

I think everybody should take a chill-pill and start checking out AVA COWAN. That's the one to watch! She's got a wonder womens resume and defintely the attributes and look of a fresh start.
To many times, we have "big names" drag there own persona into a character; fine that's hollywood. But the beauty of "Wonder Woman", and the phenomena that was Linda Carter in her portrayal, is that we knew "Wonder Woman" before we ever even met Linda Carter. Linda Carter was Wonder Woman. We need a new not so famous person that can characterize the persona of the woman bearing the golden tiara, with a little bit of herself, and not someone that we've already seen and heard of. I don't wanna see "Something about Mary 'vs' Wonder Woman" or "The Ilusionist" for that matter. I want to see a dreamgirl physique embodying one of the greatest heroes and crushes of my growing up days and some subsatnce of a character that shares the struggle to succed as an indepedant women in predominant male world.

I found this track on myspace and it's so obviously inspired by the 70s Wonder Woman TV show theme tune that I wondered if it's going to be the theme to either the animated movie or some other project?

It's by Denise Pearson, who fronted 80s super-group Five Star.

Check it out here http://www.myspace.com/denisepearsonofficial

Who do you think? ;)

http://juicy-flawless.org/gallery

Its too bad its 2007, and not 1994.

Jerry S. Sat, Nov 24, 2007 at 07:16 PM EST

I think Kate Beckinsale would make the perfect Wonder Woman. She has Already proven she can handle physical roles. She kicked ass in Van Helsing and Underworld. She is drop dead gorgeous plus she can act.
Just as a nod to the classic 70's TV show, have Lynda Carter appear as her mother on Paradise Island.

Wonder Woman Jr. Wed, Nov 14, 2007 at 04:31 AM EST

(continued-part 3)

ACTUALLY, I THINK THAT WBs SHOULD GET ON THEIR KNEES AND BEG HER TO COME BACK. THEY WOULD DEFINITELY HAVE TO MAKE IT WORTH HER WHILE. AND THEY DO OWE HER A HUGE APOLOGY, ESPECIALLY THAT, IN A WAY, THEY HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY DISRESPECTFUL TO HER FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS BY TRYING TO "REPLACE HER". SOME THINGS IN LIFE OUR JUST SIMPLY IRREPLACEABLE ;)

OF COURSE, THIS WOULD ONLY BE POSSIBLE IF L.C. WAS WILLING TO TAKE THE TASK. IF SO, WBs "WOULD BE LUCKY TO GET HER!!!"

I WAS LOOKING FORWARD 2 ALL THE WW STUFF BEING OUT IN ALL THE STORES. A SHOPPER'S PARADISE 4 EVERY WW FAN & A GREAT WAY 4 GENERATIONS OF 2DAY 2B INTRODUCED 2 A CHARACTER THAT, B4 THIS JUSTICE LEAGUE STUFF CAME BACK, HAD ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE OF WHO SHE IS.

I KNOW BECAUSE WHEN I WAS OUT & ABOUT, I WOULD ASK LITTLE GIRLS & LITTLE BOYS(4-14) IF THEY HAD EVER HEARD OF WW AND/OR IF THEY KNEW WHO WW WAS/IS. I HAD MADE MY OWN WW COSTUME & WORE IT ON HALLOWEEN. I'D ASK IF THEY KNEW WHO I WAS, NO CLUE.

Wonder Woman Jr. Wed, Nov 14, 2007 at 04:31 AM EST

(continued-part 2)

SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN INVITED TO BE PART OF IT FROM DAY ONE. AND JUST OUT OF RESPECT ALONE, SHOULD'VE BEEN GIVEN THE OPTION AS TO WHETHER OR NOT SHE WANTED TO WIGGLE BACK INTO HER SATIN TIGHTS TO TAKE ON THE ROLE, THE ROLE THAT WAS MADE FOR HER, ONCE AGAIN.

BARBARA EDEN IS BEAUTIFUL AND SHE HAS DONE EVERY ONE OF THOSE I DREAM OF JEANNIE REUNION MOVIES. ALSO, I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO GO ON A DINNER CRUISE WHICH WAS AN I DREAM OF JEANNIE REUNION CRUISE. I MET HER, UP CLOSE, SHE IS STILL GORGEOUS AND YOUTHFUL LOOKING.

SO I KNOW IF WBs WOULD OPEN UP THEIR OBVIOUSLY BLIND EYES AND SEE THE ANSWER HAS ALWAYS BEEN RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM. BUT, THEY WERE SO QUICK TO DISCRIMINATE AGAINST LYNDA BECAUSE OF AGE, THAT THEY NEVER EVEN GAVE THAT IDEA A SINGLE THOUGHT!!!

(continued)

Wonder Woman Jr. Wed, Nov 14, 2007 at 04:30 AM EST

NO 1 CAN EVER FILL LYNDA CARTER'S BOOTS LITERALLY...NO ONE!!! THAT I'M KINDA HAPPY ABOUT BECAUSE I READ THAT LYNDA CARTER WAS VERY UPSET WHEN SHE HEARD THE NEWS. SO I'M HAPPY BECAUSE THAT HAS TO MAKE HER FEEL BETTER THAT THEY'RE HAVING A HARD TIME FINDING ANOTHER WW.

Y DON'T THEY ASK LYNDA CARTER? I THINK THAT'S A GREAT IDEA TO LET HER BE PART OF THE ENTIRE WBs WW PROJECT. MAYBE THEY'D HAVE BETTER LUCK...LOL HMMM...WW aka LYNDA CARTER HAS THE POWER, NOT WBs, EVEN THOUGH THEY THOUGHT SO.

HEY WBs GO WITH THE GRAIN, NOT AGAINST IT...and NEVER EVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF A WOMAN, ESPECIALLY WONDER WOMAN...and THERE IS ONLY ONE=LYNDA CARTER ;)

I BET EVEN NOW LYNDA CARTER "COULD" STAR AS WW ON THE BIG SCREEN & DO IT BETTER & EVEN LOOK BETTER THAN ANY1 REGARDLESS OF HER AGE. BEAUTY IS ETERNAL.

Tyson Sat, Oct 20, 2007 at 12:57 AM EST

Again, you clowns keep choosing these "average" looking actresses for this role simply cause they're popular. Lucy Lawless, Any jessica ( I mean any), Carpenter, Demi ???, none of them LOOK like WW. Read the fine print people...LOOK like WW. U do know what what this means? They don't have the curves, shapes, physical beauty, and let's face it...WW represents purity ( as in innocense), something these hollywood bimbos wouldn't even be able to spell.
I agree this ...Nardia does at least have the look. So does Catherine Zeta but too bad she's too old.

witely Thu, Oct 18, 2007 at 09:12 PM EST

Angie Harmon is Wonder Woman. Has been for years. She has a face, height and stature that command respect. Wonder Woman. She used to have a great tan making her glow like a Brazilian...I mean Amazonian. She's not over the hill but still might need a boost(ier) in the chest area. Nadia is pretty, even cute, not beautiful. I can see Biel pulling it off because she has a strong face; and Connelly with a LOT of bronzer. I thought Charisma would be acceptable up until that previous post. But without a doubt, hands down if you want to choose the right one for the Amazonian Princess of Power who looks more regal than Angie Harmon.

the jennifers Sun, Oct 7, 2007 at 06:35 PM EST

Jennifer Garner has the action chops. Jennifer Connelly has the look and fan base, but that is just a pipe dream. Tom Welling is the best Superman, and would keep Superman fans from joining Batman fans in protest. Gerard Butler might do a good Batman, but Bale fans are going to argue no matter what.

Jack Sat, Oct 6, 2007 at 09:21 AM EST

No' Nadia doesnot look like a poodle. She is beautiful. Beil looks can't compare. I cannot believe that they keep passing Nadia up.Nadia is Wonder Woman. She's the only one.

Adam Fachry Fri, Oct 5, 2007 at 09:31 PM EST

I don't think Biel fits the Wonder Woman image. Charisma Carpenter is sucks too!

Terrence Ball Thu, Oct 4, 2007 at 12:15 PM EST

For the role of wonder woman there is only one choice,Catherine Zeta jones. To me she lookes like wonder woman and I think she would do a great job.And I think Ryan Reynolds would make a great flash too.As far as green lantern Wesley Snipes would be incredible. He already has the experience when he played Blade.Superman could be played by Brandon Routh again. However, who should play the part of Batman is still a mystery right now.

Elvin Vazquez/ Perth Amboy N.J. Wed, Oct 3, 2007 at 07:32 PM EST

Demi Demi Demi !!!

Elvin Vazquez Wed, Oct 3, 2007 at 07:23 PM EST

I can't believe that out of the 22 woman chosen for the role of Wonder Woman one of my best pick for this role was not even mentioned. My pick would be Demi Moore! After watching her in the last Charlie's Angel, I knew right there and then that she would the best, if there were to be a remake of Wonder Woman!!!

Chris for BR Mon, Oct 1, 2007 at 10:33 PM EST

You know, for WW, after Lucy Lawless, Jennifer Connelly might not be a bad choice. I think we have to take into consideration that WW is NOT American...another reason for Lucy.

Chris from Baton Rouge Mon, Oct 1, 2007 at 10:17 PM EST

Have looked at those mentioned to be cast as Wonder Woman. Have been reading Justice League for a while. Wonder Woman is not a "Teen Queen." She could be in her late 20s to mid 30s. Lucy Lawless has all the qualities to be Wonder Woman. If she was cast as WW, it would be a a great casting decision. Lucy would REALLY bring WW to life!

Stacey Mon, Oct 1, 2007 at 02:05 PM EST

Jennifer Connelly for Wonder Woman...
Charisma Carpenter for Troia.
Ben Browder for Steve

Mon, Oct 1, 2007 at 01:48 PM EST

Jessica Alba for wonder woman

eric Sun, Sep 30, 2007 at 05:21 PM EST

charisma is the perfect choice !! nadia bjorlin is a bad actresse

allan graf Sun, Sep 30, 2007 at 03:21 PM EST

I cannot stress enough.. no one, and i mean no one is more capable of playing Wonder Woman than Angie Harmon. If any of you have ever seen her in real life -- you know exactly what I mean.

Tyson Sat, Sep 29, 2007 at 11:58 PM EST

Another thing...Nadia Bjorlin, my 1st choice. You people keep picking some what talented actress, but you all keep forgetting...WW is one of the most beautiful women in creation. None of your choices fit that description. None of them!

TYson Sat, Sep 29, 2007 at 11:54 PM EST

What do you mean passed? She was never "actually" considered for the role. This was just Hollywood propaganda. She does not have teh looks, build, star power, or talent.

Amish2814 Sat, Sep 29, 2007 at 11:30 PM EST

No big deal no having Biel. I personally think she would have done good. She is hot, can act and can kick ass. but they will find some no name or up and comer and she will do fine. i think they should get a fairly big name though as Wonder Woman is one of the big 3, along with Batman and Superman. And if they use Lantern, which I am hoping they do cause I want a spin off of that...They shouldn't use Washington as John Stewart, they need to do an origins story and use Hal Jordan.

Gunner Sat, Sep 29, 2007 at 07:44 PM EST

Unlike a lot of others(and I mean a lot), I was actually really pleased with Beil's consideration for the role. I liked her over others for a number of reasons, one considering that she's not just any name, but she can carry the project. She was actually one I saw being selected since the film was first rumored.

Despite this, I knew a lot of whispered choices were awefully small statured actresses or considerably older(too old in this age of the genre). Biel was not either.

I just hope they don't go with someone because they're pretty, but select someone who not simply looks the part, but can carry the film.

And neither Routh or Bale will be in any sort of Justice League film.

anti-ed Sat, Sep 29, 2007 at 04:37 PM EST

that nadia chick looks like a poodle. totally wrong for ww. ed, try again.

ed Sat, Sep 29, 2007 at 11:46 AM EST

All of you are wrong. Here is who should play Wonder Woman. Paste this link below:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004294/

tonyboy Sat, Sep 29, 2007 at 09:50 AM EST

I personally think that jessica beil wouldn't have been a good wonder woman but she would have been a good choice for, if they were to use her in the movie, Hawkgirl herself. I also think that former greys' anatomy star Isaiah Washington would be a good choice for the green lantern,Ryan Renolds for flash, and go ahead and use Brandon Routh for supes so as to not confuse people. They should cast unknowns for aquaman and batman.

WhenenRome Sat, Sep 29, 2007 at 02:42 AM EST

I can't believe people still (or ever did) clamor for Charisma Carpenter. She's not a very good actress, for one. Artificial cannons and the ability to be vampy does not equal Wonder Woman... And as for her playing WW today? Have you seen her? It's more like Botox and Collagen Carpenter.

The recently reported Victoria Hill would be an excellent choice for Wonder Woman. She is the best I've seen / heard about of all the names so far.

Jack Fri, Sep 28, 2007 at 11:15 PM EST

Nadia Bjorlin is the right choice. Why they keep passing her up is a mystery to me. Iam so glad that Biel is out of the picture. She didn't fit the part.

Boy Venus Fri, Sep 28, 2007 at 08:38 PM EST

I would have loved Charisma for Wonder Woman up until maybe a couple of years ago.

Currently, I think that Michelle Ryan from Bionic Woman would be a great choice. At least in the looks department. I don't know how good of an actress she is as I've never really watched her act.

MetalWater Fri, Sep 28, 2007 at 07:45 PM EST

PS...sorry for the typo...I meant "there"...not "their"...but you understand.

MetalWater Fri, Sep 28, 2007 at 07:43 PM EST

To me it is between Michelle Ryan (The New Bionic Woman), Megan Fox (Transformers), and Tessie Santiago (Queen Of Swords).

Jessica Biel seems like she was cast by somebody who saw her mentioned on TMZ.com and Perez Hilton.com. I am certain that she was courted simply for her association with Justin Timberlake...nothing else.

It's time to stop casting people based on who is in the celebrity gossip pages and featured on web sites, as they often pay for the privilege...via their press agents--and thus the large amounts of press that they get is largely planted--and designed to fool, ironically, the mainstream media, Hollywood execs...and the public. But if you do some close checking, their are alot of celebs who get vast amounts of press, that have no real fan base. They are simply paper tigers...who as I said before, pay for the privilege of being featured in gossip rags and on certain web sites--but, nobody is going to see their movies. That should tell you all you need to know!

Lucius Gore Fri, Sep 28, 2007 at 07:11 PM EST

Eva Green should be Wonder Woman. She looks like Wonder Woman. And she can act.

clay Fri, Sep 28, 2007 at 05:14 PM EST

Shirley, that is NOT wonder woman!

Shirley Fri, Sep 28, 2007 at 04:49 PM EST

I want charisma carpenter to the role .. watch this trailer
